Marine Basic First Aid Course

Course Overview

This is a basic two days course ( online and in-class) offering an overview of
first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the
marine industry. This course meets the requirements of
Transport Canada outlined in the Transport Publication (TP 13008 E).

This course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to circulation emergencies (CPR Level C).
The course uses scenarios taken from the marine fishing industry.

Requirements for Completion

  • Completion of Red Cross online course
  • 100% attendance
  • Grade of 80% on the written test
  • Grade of 80% on the practical test

Upon Completion Participants Will Receive

  • 3 Year Certification in Marine Basic First Aid
  • Transport Canada Certification in Marine Basic First Aid
