Occupational First Aid Course

The occupational-first-aid course meets WorkSafe BC requirements for first aid training in the workplace.

As of September 1, 2018, Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid courses are considered equivalent to Worksafe BC Occupational First Aid Course for the purpose of workplace first aid attendants.  And Red Cross courses have the added benefit of national recognition, more flexible class instruction, and they teach the critical life savings skills for all ages, not just adults.

  • Basic Life Support (CPR-A)

  • Small Wound Management

  • Critical airway, breathing, and circulation interventions with C-spine management.
